Memorial day weekend

Remember Memorial day weekend 2009... Sunny, warm, we played on the giant slide for the first time... It was nice wasn't it?



This Memorial Day weekend was still nice but just not "Giant Water slide nice". It was cold in Idaho, REALLY cold.

 

We played trains with Grandma.

 

Played with cousin's a little bit.

 

Went and saw the flooding river.

 

And made the trip out to Lewisville to see some Madsen heritage.

So it was a good weekend but I don't think I'll be going up to Idaho again till it gets warmer :) Thanks Pat and Dale for having us!

Bobcat

Kade LOVES scouts - we had his first pack meeting last night and all the boys had so much fun. Kade earned his Bobcat award - so he was pretty excited about that, even though it is super easy to get :) They had a little BBQ and then launched rockets the scouts had made just before Kade got in. But they had an extra an let Kade launch it - that was a huge hit with all the kids.
The annual USU family 5K was a couple weekends ago. We love doing this as a family and all getting USU shirts and aggie ice cream! Kade and Ty rode their bikes again and Rich and I were able to run with no strollers thanks to Pat - for watching Zack (who threw up the whole night before) and Cort.

The boys took off on their own and were in the lead the whole way - I wasn't sure they'd know where to go - but they made it. Rich ran in a later group that was timed - so he was at the finish line when they crossed and I crossed the finish line just after Rich"s group left.

April

It's been a long time since our last blog post, so here are some things that happened in April and May. Michael had a day where Mom came to eat lunch with him. She brought along Andrew. After lunch they went to recess, where a bunch of little girls flocked to Andrew and wanted to take care of him. They followed Michael and Andrew around the whole time.

Daniel had a birthday.

Easter fun.

In addition, Lydia tried out for and made the show choir team for next year.

We had a great time hiking the Pueblo ruins and going to Michael's baptism.

I don't know how to fix the orientation of the pictures and the computer is so

slow, I am done.
