Pumpkin Carving 2007

We carved pumpkins Monday night for FHE - as you can tell by Ty's face he mostly ate chocolate chip cookies. :) I carved the very simple moon an stars pumpkin and Rich was a little more elaborate with his carving of mickey mouse's face.

India has a killer-monkey problem. Fortunately, they have decided to bring in "larger and fiercer" monkey's to deal with the killer-monkeys. I think I saw a Simpson's episode that dealt with an animal problem in similar fashion.

First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Kim! Woo hoo! Is this 30? You are old.
Also, just wanted to let y'all with children know that the horrible head to toe rash Macie had over the weekend turned out to be an allergic reaction to the Penecillin she was on. No need to fear measles and chicken pox in your little ones. Now you can't curse me if they do get sick. That is all!

The announcement was made today. Dale will be released from the bishopric next Sunday! All that can be here should be here. That date is Oct. 21st. Time is 10:45am. There will be much food and drink and celebration after!!!

JOb Change

I feel like I'm becoming the statistic "Americans change careers an average of 7 times..."
I start with the Emergency Dispatch on the 22nd. Thanks for your help in the background stuff. I am going to fly to Utah and then visit Idaho next weekend with Ezri and CHristian. We'll probably be in IF on Friday evening and Saturday -
I hope we can see some of you - since Christmas travel might not happen for us this year.

I can't stop reading!!!

There is something about vampires that makes it very hard for me to stop reading. I have to go have a 3 hour test done at the doctor this week and so I got Morgan's copy of twilight to read while I sat at the doctor's office for 3 hours. I thought that would be a good way to pass the time. Rich picked it up on Sunday evening for me and I started reading Monday and am 1/2 way done. I had to force myself to stop reading and put it under lock and key today to keep me from reading because I know when I go to the doctor on Wednesday I am going to need something to entertain me. So I wait anxiously for tomorrow to come so I can go to the doctor and start reading again.

IT'S A GIRL....AGAIN!

Well, we are happy to announce we will be adding another little girl to our family! After a Dr. Pepper and a copious amount of sugary treats, I have come to grips with the fact I must have done something terribly wrong in the preexistence :) When Valerie first told Macie we were having a girl, Macie said, "EH EH" I couldn't have said it any better myself. All joking aside, we are very grateful to have a healthy baby. I would ask, however, that you start praying now for us to be able to make it through adolescence.
