Presidents Share Hands

It is a good thing that we don't elect Church Presidents, because I think Bush's approval rating is low enough to hurt even President Monson.

Here is a picture of the two Presidents shaking hands. Good, firm grips, I'd say.

REMINDER

Just a little reminder that we are blessing Charlotte this Sunday at 9am....Hope everyone can make it. Breakfast will be shortly after sacrament.

Once yearly tradition...

Adri and I went to see Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull over the weekend. For the one movie we seem to see a year, it was okay. The action sequences were typical Indiana, but the story line was a little different than previous versions. If you haven't seen it I won't give it away, but it's definetely something new for Indy. Also the feel of the movie was somehow different, not as dark or mysterious. There also wasn't any real memorable or funny parts. Overall it was okay, but not as good as I'd hoped for.

a good case?

when I first saw the story on the news about a new law that would give pregnant women in their 3rd trimester disabled parking tags . . . I was not happy. "Being pregnant can be hard," I thought, "but I don't want people to treat me like it's a disability . . . I think it's embarrassing enough when people lift stuff for me, or go out of their way to get a door ... "
But here is a list of things I have done in the past week that make the parking spot seem like a good idea ... one less thing to worry about, ya know?
1. put the eggs in the freezer
2. drove my car up on the curb because I was thinking about a sandwich
3. showed up at work on the wrong day
4. had my pants on backwards -- didn't even notice
5. fell down on the sidewalk after turning to tell a panhandler I had no change
6. Fell down trying to avoid a panhandler . . . (but did not spill my diet coke!! Yay! )
7. Fell down for no apparent reason (but I was thinking about a sandwich)

-- I think I've reached the point where my center of gravity has been lost ... with the first pregnancy, my rear end grew at an equal pace to my belly, and things stayed pretty even. I feel mush more off balance this time, but am grateful that the rear side has not grown as fast.

Mile High

Here are some of the pictures from our trip to Denver. We had an early birthday party for Macie so that Grandma and Grandpa Johnson could sufficiently spoil her. I finished my class today, but we aren't going to drive home until Saturday.

Cruise Pictures

Me and Kylie are starting our own blog. trentandkylie.blogspot.com It will probably be a few more months before anything exciting happens on it. Anyways.....

I didn't filter out any pictures, so this is all of them: the good and the bad. It was a great time! I'm sure we will remember it for a long time. This cruise definitely kicked our honeymoon cruise in the butt. We had a really fun dinner group which really helped out as well. We took a bunch of snorkeling pictures with a disposable waterproof camera, so we might have some more pictures later.

Free Wheelin'

Tonight after family home evening we took the boys and their bikes over to the church parking lot to work with Kade on riding with no training wheels - Rich took off the training wheels and Kade took off riding the bike like he had been riding like that forever. He is much faster now - which is a little scary - the helmet is now a must have (it should have always been) but he goes much faster now! We took the wittled down training wheels that were on Kade's bike and put them on the tiny little two wheeler we have that Ty can now ride with the training wheels - hopefully he'll just teach himself how to ride as well - that makes it so much easier as the parent :)
